Rory is a former pupil of Liverpool College 1994-2011 and obtained a degree in Law and Business BA (Hons) at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2013. He then went on to study the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School before commencing his Training Contract with Quinn Barrow in September 2015.
Rory qualified as a solicitor in September 2017 and upon his admittance, became a Solicitor in Quinn Barrow and has since become an Associate.
Rory handles a wide range of commercial property development and investment transactions for Purchasers; Sellers; Landlords and business Tenants. He acts on behalf of various Lending Institutions and has a client base from high street banks to private bridging loan companies.
Rory deals with a wide variety of corporate transactional matters. This includes asset sales; share sales and general corporate matters including company re-organisations and shareholder/partnership agreements. Rory can handle all aspects of the sale/purchase of a business – including due diligence; finance redemption; corporate; employment and property related issues.
Rory has prepared and perfected Loan and Security documentation covering multi-million transactions for a private bridging finance client.
Rory handles a variety of Private Client work including Lasting Power of Attorney applications; applications for Probate and Administration and will drafting. He has handled the administration of Estates (including property sales; share valuations and co-ordinating tax matters with HMRC) on behalf of Executors and Administrators. He has successfully concluded a number of high-value Estates.
