Damages have successfully been recovered for clients nationwide. Distance is no obstacle to pursuing a claim and we have access to a network of professional experts including Barristers, Accountants, Medical Consultants and Engineers by video conferencing.
We have negotiated refurbishment of clients’ homes where injury has resulted in disability, which has greatly improved their quality of life. In addition, rehabilitation has been arranged and funded to assist with a client’s recovery from injury.
Unfortunately, an element of personal injury work also involves fatal injuries and Cathy and the team of Litigators are sensitive to the issues involved at such a particularly distressing time.
Damages have been recovered for clients who have been injured through work, whilst driving, as a result of assault/attack or for parents who have lost children (as a result of fatal accidents) or brain injured children. Damages have been successfully recovered ranging from a £1,000.00 to £1 million.
Cathy is an experienced Litigator and has successfully litigated and negotiated Commercial Disputes, and has also achieved successful results through Alternative Dispute Resolution, for example, Mediation. In addition, Cathy has also successfully pursued compensation where clients have received professional negligent advice, for example, from previous solicitors.
The Practice is CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) accredited and Cathy is a recognised qualified Conveyancer in accordance with the Accreditation and can assist in relation to residential sales and purchases. In addition, Cathy has advised on commercial matters for a range of SMEs (Small/Medium Enterprises).
