Jenny Malam began studying law through the Institute of Legal Executives in 1995 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2002. She subsequently attended Liverpool John Moores University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2005. Jenny began her legal career with Quinn Melville Solicitors in 1996 and moved to Quinn Barrow Solicitors in October 2005.
Jenny has extensive experience dealing with all types of personal injury and insurance litigation including road traffic accidents, tripping incidents, accidents at work, fatal accidents and claims made to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
Jenny is experienced in handling all types of commercial disputes for a range of small and medium enterprises and runs a successful debt recovery department. Jenny has successfully pursued claims against a number of Police Forces for assault; false imprisonment and wrongful arrest.
Jenny has advised and dealt with a range of commercial property matters including leases, claims for possession and Landlord & Tenant disputes.
Jenny has continued to diversify her skills and has joined Jennifer Walsh as part of the family law team. Jenny deals with divorce; children proceedings and financial remedy applications. Jenny utilises her litigation background and experience to successfully deal with the wide range of issues which frequently arise in family cases.
The Practice is CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) accredited and Jenny is a recognised qualified Conveyancer in accordance with the Accreditation and can assist in relation to residential sales and purchases.
Quinn Barrow have an established group of experienced barristers and experts to assist in relation to divorce proceedings – particularly contested financial and children proceedings
