Stephen Ormesher

Stephen is a former pupil of Scarisbrick Hall School, Southport. He obtained his Law Degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007. He remained there to complete his post graduate qualifications. As a mature student, Stephen’s legal career began before graduation when he worked with a local Liverpool firm. Stephen completed his Training Contract with Quinn Barrow Solicitors and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010.

 

Stephen’s brief encompasses a number of areas of employment. He has represented Claimants and Defendants before the Employment Tribunal under a whole range of employment and discrimination matters. Stephen has also taken cases before the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court. He also provides Human Relations support to a number of owned and managed businesses and professional practices.

 

Stephen has represented a number of clients in commercial and contract litigation including partnership disputes, breach of contract claims and various commercial litigation matters. He has been instructed on the sale and purchase of business.

 

Probate – Stephen’s remit in this area of law ranges from the drafting of simple Wills to representing executors and administrators throughout the administration process in dealing with a deceased’s estate.

 

Stephen, as with any modern Practice, is able to offer a diverse range of funding options to clients in suitable cases and is always willing to have a preliminary discussion on any case at no initial cost to the client.
