Paul Beck
PAUL BECK is a former pupil of St Edwards College Liverpool. He obtained his Law Degree at Liverpool University and graduated in 1991. He went to Chester Law School and began his legal career with the Practice of David Philips & Partners Liverpool where he did his articles. Paul qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and upon his admittance became a Solicitor in Quinn Melville – which by then was the successor Practice to David Philips & Partners Liverpool.
Paul became a Partner in Quinn Melville in 1998 and has been a Partner in Quinn Barrow since its inception.
Paul’s brief encompasses a number of areas: -
Employment
He has represented claimants and defendants before the Employment Tribunal on a whole range of employment and discrimination matters. Paul has also taken cases before the Employment Appeal Tribunal and High Court. He also provides Human Relations support to a number of owner managed businesses and Professional Practices.
Commercial and Contract Litigation
He has represented a number of clients in these areas including partnership disputes; breach of contract claims and various commercial litigation matters. He has been instructed in the sale and purchase of businesses.
Judicial Review
He has represented a number of clients before the Administrative Court in London upon Judicial Review applications on areas as diverse as education law; planning and criminal law. Paul believes that the location of the Administrative Court in Manchester will lead to further instructions.
Paul, as with any modern Practice, is able to offer a diverse range of funding options to clients in suitable cases and is always willing to have a preliminary discussion on any case at no initial cost to the client.
